Amazon to add Al technology to Alexa


1)Revive Alexa with AI
Amazon plans to revive its struggling voice assistant, Alexa, by combining it with generative AI technology.


2)Proprietary LLM
New Alexa will be powered by Amazon's LLM called the 'Alexa Teacher Model.' It is also working on a larger model to make Alexa more proactive and conversational.

3)Bedtime stories
New Alexa will be able to generate a bedtime story in ChatGPT-style and deliver media recommendations, news, and stories in a conversational manner.

4)Using camera 
Amazon plans to use cameras on its Echo Show Smart display to recognize the toys a child is holding and incorporate them into Alexa's storytelling.

5)Assistants stagnated
Voice assistants like Alexa stagnated in their growth, ceding the AI race to chatbots. The AI frenzy has given Amazon a chance to reinvent Alexa.
