                Yoga Awareness Day
Yoga Day, is observed on 21st June every year. It was first proposed by the PM of india , Shri Narendra Modi.And unanimously adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 2014.The inaugural International yoga Day was celebrated on June 21,2015. 
The main goal of Yoga Day is to raise the awareness about the benefits of daily exercise/Yoga and promote its holistic approach to physical and mental well-being. Yoga is ancient practice that originated in India and have gained popularity in whole world .Yoga day is celebrated in School, Temples, Play ground, Yoga classes etc.


Benefits of yoga 

1)Physical fitness: 
Yoga helps to improve your mental health, flexibility, strength and balance . Daily Yoga practice can increase joint mobility, enhance muscles tone etc. 


2)Stress reduction: 
The main benefits of yoga is it reduced the stress and promote relaxation. By doing meditation, breathing exercises, mindful movment,  which can help calm the mind,  reduce anxiety and lower stress levels.


3)Improved Sleep:
Daily yoga practice can increase you splle quality and you will feel Better. The combination of physical activity, relaxation techniques, and stress reduction helps calm the mind and prepares the body for restful sleep.


4)Mindfulness and Focus:
Yoga cultivates mindfulness and concentration. It increases your memory power ,mental health etc 


5)Mental Well-being:
Yoga has very positive impact on our mental health .It can help alleviate symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions by promoting emotional balance, enhancing self-awareness, and improving overall mood.
