Everyone’s been wishing that the rumors will be true about this car. The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut, an awe-inspiring creation by the legendary Swedish hypercar manufacturer, boasts the title of being the ‘fastest ever’ car on the market. The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut’s design is focused solely on achieving the highest top speed possible, and it features an aerodynamic body with a low drag coefficient of 0.278, which is incredibly low for a road-legal car.
It is powered by a twin-turbocharged, 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces a staggering 1,600 horsepower on E85 biofuel. The Absolut can reach a top speed of over 330 mph, making it the fastest production car ever made.
While the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut has been designed to theoretically reach a top speed of 330 mph, it has not been officially tested yet. The 330 mph speed is based on computer simulations and engineering projections, rather than actual on-road testing.

The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ technically holds the title of the fastest car in the world, achieving a remarkable top speed of 304.8 mph. Its incredible power comes from a quadruple-turbocharged, 8.0-liter W16 engine, which has been fine-tuned to perfection since its first appearance in the Veyron and Veyron Super Sport models. Chiron Super Sport 300+ is also in the list of top 8 cars with highest amount of torque with 1,180 lb-ft of torque.
3]Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster

The Venom F5 Roadster is powered by a bespoke 6.6-liter V8 engine that produces over 1,800 horsepower and 1,300 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a seven-speed single-clutch automatic transmission, which sends power to the rear wheels. The car is expected (and it is not proven yet) to have a top speed of over 500 km/h (311 mph) and a 0-60 mph acceleration time of less than 2 seconds.

There have been a lot of talks about which car is the fastest in the world, especially when it comes to reaching speeds of over 300 miles per hour. In 2020, the SSC Tuatara claimed to have hit a record-breaking speed of 331 miles per hour. Hennessey later acknowledged a GPS error that incorrectly recorded the speed.
SSC then made another attempt and managed to set an official record of 282.6 miles per hour, which was still beaten by the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+. After more controversy, SSC made another attempt and this time managed to reach a speed of 295 miles per hour, beating their previous record and claiming the fourth spot on the list of fastest cars in the world.

The Agera RS is a very powerful version of the Agera, and it became the fastest car in the world in November 2017 when it went an average speed of 277.9 mph. Even though this record only lasted for less than two years, the Agera RS still holds several other records for things like going from 0 to 200 mph and stopping again, and for breaking from 200 mph to a complete stop. Unlike Bugatti, Koenigsegg didn’t make a special version of the Agera RS to celebrate the record, but they only made 25 of the RS model.
